Seafood Expo Global regresa a Barcelona del 21 al 23 de abril de 2026, confirmada como la edición más grande en su historia por los organizadores del evento. Seafood Expo Global returns to Barcelona from 21 to 23 April 2026, and this year is already confirmed as the largest edition in the event’s history, according to the event organizers. More than 80 countries will be represented across five halls and over 52,000 square metres of exhibit space at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via venue.
For anyone in the seafood trade who has attended before, the scale of SEG26 is worth noting. More exhibitors, more floor space, and more people means more conversations, more product on display, and more ground to cover. The businesses that leave Barcelona having made the most of their time are the ones that arrive with a plan.
Two additions are worth highlighting. The Innovation Theater is a new dedicated space within the exhibition halls offering free programming including panel discussions, competitions, and networking events across all three days. The Aquaculture Innovation Zone, located in Hall 1, is a focused area for aquaculture technology, AI applications in fish health management, aquafeed innovation, and broader aquatech solutions. For buyers interested in farmed seafood supply chains, this is a new and concentrated opportunity to engage with the sector in one place.
The conference programme has expanded to over 30 sessions, according to Seafood Expo Global organizers. The session on the commercial opportunity for US West Coast seafood suppliers entering the EU market will examine product positioning, buyer expectations, and market access requirements. Another on Indonesia’s tuna supply chain traces the full route from coastal fishing communities to end consumers, with a focus on traceability, sustainability certification, and supply chain integrity. A session on tariffs and EU-US seafood trade will analyse the current tariff environment and its effects on sourcing strategies and pricing across both markets. Program details are subject to change.
